Hey everyone.....

How you doing? Very well i hope...

Summers coming to an end, the ski season is nearly here again (excellent) and all in all it's been a wicked summer here in B.C.

So since we last did an update what have we been doing? Well.... bloody loads to be honest.... so i shall start...

PARTY
We had a good party at our place back at the end of July. Great fun, of course way too many beers drunk but most excellent. A gorgeous sunny day (not too hot either just around 27 C or something - good for the Westcoasters!!!) sat around the pool drinking beers and cocktails... Nobody else came around either! Check out the pics....

SUMMERLAND
Another spot 45 mins down the road, on Okanagan Lake.... nice beaches... great weather, a good paddle... and a loveley day out!

WINERIES
Living in the Okanagan you cannot go a summer without visiting some of the hundreds of local wineries.... so we had a day out with Jen and Chris visiting a few of them... a wicked trip... great weather (of course it's the Okanagan) great company and great wines made for a pretty wicked day out!

ROCKIES
We just got back from an awesome trip through the Canadian Rockies (BC and Alberta).... a fantastic trip... we drove approx 3100kms and basically went camping for 11 nights! The weather was amazing, the scenery fantastic, the company superb alltogether a wicked trip. Check out some of our pics.

We saw loads of wildlife as well, cariboo, black bear, coyote, moose, elk, deer, moutain goats, eagles, wolves (not wild though) all sorts!

We managed loads of hiking and kayaking, hot pools, drinking and sight seeing... We both really feel like we know our province now (and some of our neighbours).... and for sure one of the most beautiful places on earth....

IMMIGRATION!!!!
Ok for months and months and months it seems like nothing has happened.... finally just after we got back, Kim got a call from Immigration to say it was all done! They skipped a couple of stages and on Tuesday 12th September i became a permanent resident of Canada! Nice one eh?

BUSINESS
So, as lots of you know one of the reasons we came over to Canada was to buy an accommodation business.... and we are finally getting that little bit closer to our dream... an offer has been accepted and now its lawyers, accountants and bankers.... so watch this space for more news! (it's a pub and hostel in the rockies).

We have a trip planned to Toronto in a couple of weeks, Kim is a bridesmaid for one of her friends there... so we will have fun at the wedding, visit Niagara Falls, Wonderworld (theme park) and visit some other friends as well!

All in all.............. not too shabby!
